Meet the Maker: Named for its location in Red Wing, Minnesota, Red Wing Stoneware & Pottery (now Red Wing Pottery) dates back to 1887. The company got its start producing its now signature crocks and jugs for local farmers, but soon expanded to include ceramic dinnerware and art as new technology replaced the need for for its early work.
